Movie: "Garden State"--skip this if you haven't seen it

Pretty good movie once you come to grips with the fact that the most important thing to the director was showing how clever he could be. Yes, they were clever scenes, but allow it to sink in before socking us with another.

And it made Christine cry "just a little". Being a barometer of the ever unpredictable phenomenon of feminine emotions, it must have been touching to some demographic.

I'd have preferred it if dude left her crying at the airport, but that's just me.
....little more realistic.

And if a friend jumped through hoops to give me back the jewelry he stole from my mother's corpse, I wouldn't be thanking him for his consideration. Would have been "buckwheats" for him...what an asshole.
